A Message from the Principal

Dear Harker Families,

It is an honor to serve as principal of General Charles Harker Elementary School. Each day, I am inspired by the dedication of our teachers, the curiosity of our students, and the strong partnership we share with our families. Together, we continue to make Harker a place where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn.

Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working in education as a teacher, literacy coach, instructional supervisor, and assistant principal. These experiences have strengthened my belief in the power of collaboration and my commitment to creating a learning environment where all students can thrive.

At Harker, our focus is on fostering a culture of collaboration, kindness, and excellence. We strive to ensure that every student not only achieves academic success but also develops confidence, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning. Our teachers and staff work tirelessly to provide engaging instruction and meaningful support, and I am so proud of the energy and heart they bring to their work each day.

Equally important is our partnership with families. A strong connection between home and school is the foundation of student success. I encourage open communication and welcome your thoughts, ideas, and feedback at any time. My door is always open, and I value the opportunity to listen, learn, and celebrate our students’ accomplishments together.
