Grading System and Policies

Grading for STEAM

          For STEM this year, skills and assignments will be evaluated and assigned a number grade based on the student's ability in demonstrating/achieving a specific skill. For example, if a skill is achieved with proficiency, they will obtain a "3". If they are partially able to meet the skill they would be a "2" and so on. A rating of "4" would be a higher level of understanding than the standard requires.         Make-Up Work - The amount of days absent is given to complete the assignments.
  Grade Break Down:

Highly Proficient = 4

Proficient = 3

Partially Proficient = 2

Not Proficient = 1
